Guidelines for attending Jumu’ah Salah


Starting Friday, July 16, 2021, there will be 5 Jumu’ah Salats on a first come, first served basis.

If you have a flexible schedule please kindly attend the later Jumu’ah salats, e.g. 2:30, 3:00 or 3:30. Seniors will be given priority.

Khutbah Times are:   1:30,   2:00,   2:30,   3:00,   3:30

Every person that attends Masjid Bilal is required to adhere to the guidelines below. These guidelines have been prepared for the well-being of all attendees (musallis), yet Masjid Bilal cannot guarantee each attendees’ safety from COVID – 19 or any other health risk. Every person that attends Masjid Bilal will do so at their own risk. Masjid Bilal Muslim Association will not be held liable for any form of complication arising due to visiting the masjid, now or in the future.  Every person attending Masjid Bilal will respect the designated masjid volunteers and follow their instructions. The volunteers have the authority to deny entry into the building due to noncompliance.

  • Please register upon entry and have your temperature checked.
  • People waiting outside must practice physical distancing as is being done outside the grocery stores and banks.
  • Everyone will be required to practice physical distancing in the masjid, before, during and after salat. Physical distancing is also to be maintained at points of entry and exit.
  • It is mandatory that people wear a face mask or covering when in public indoor places, especially when it is difficult to maintain a two-metre (six feet) distance from others.
  • Bring your prayer mat.
  • Maintain excellent hand hygiene at all times.
  • No loitering inside or anywhere on masjid property after prayer.
  • If anyone has any symptoms of COVID – 19 e.g. fever, cough, difficulty breathing, etc. or has been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 or has symptoms of COVID-19, you must stay at home.

Everyone is expected to follow the above-noted guidelines to ensure the well-being of all attendees. These guidelines may change without notice.
